2000 Course COVID General Information
Covid Safety at MIU
We do not know what the state of COVID will be during the course in Fairfield.
We will monitor COVID in the US and Iowa and post changes on the course website. As always, the CDC website is the ultimate source for COVID information in the US.
Here are some options recommended by the CDC:
- Bring some quality masks in case we see positive cases. Masks are inexpensive and a good way to slow the spread of COVID or the common flu.
- Bring some covid tests with you. You can get 4 free tests from the CDC.
- Wear a mask while traveling. Be careful in airports and on planes and public transportation.
- New COVID booster shots are now available around the US. They are reported to provide good protection against COVID and help to prevent serious illness if you do get COVID.
If we see COVID cases during the course, we’ll do our best to provide a facility where people can isolate until they feel better. We had good results with this protocol during the pandemic.
If you experience symptoms: Please stay home and away from others if you have a runny nose, sneezing, sore throat, fatigue, cough, or fever. These can be early COVID symptoms. Wear a mask if you must be in public places.
