Instead of taking the shuttle, you may find it more convenient to rent a car or arrange for a private driver to bring you to campus. A list of private drivers is available upon request.
The best airports to consider are Cedar Rapids (CID – 1 ½ hours from campus) and Des Moines (DSM – 2 hours from campus). The nearest Amtrak stations are in Mt. Pleasant and Ottumwa (1/2 hour from campus each) and Fort Madison (1 hour from campus). Greyhound offers bus service to Fairfield.
For any additional information, please contact our transportation department directly at: transportation@miu.edu.
For Visitors Day there is a $10 registration fee.
Yes, online registration closes at 9:00 PM Central Time the Wednesday before.
