This special course on Brahmavidya offers the next step of exploration into the powerful knowledge Maharishi brought out under the theme of Total Knowledge. According to Maharishi, Brahmavidya is “the most delicate assembly of two opposite values, silence and activity.”
In the earlier courses in this series, we followed the development of Total Knowledge and its presentation in a series of charts. This new course enters into a new realm where the charts are complete and Maharishi starts to present the supreme knowledge they portray. We will enjoy this profound expression of knowledge by hearing and studying fascinating talks by Maharishi.

Prerequisite: Total Knowledge and Higher States of Consciousness, Part 1 and Part 2 or equivalent. This is an advanced course for TM Teachers and graduates of the TM-Sidhi® course, plus those Meditators who have a familiarity and comfort with many of the terms and concepts used in Maharishi Vedic ScienceSM.
Course Description
This is the sixth course in the Total Knowledge 2.0 series, which is a behind-the-scenes look at Maharishi’s development of Total Knowledge in 2006 and 2007. (Please note that it is fine to take these courses in any order.)
We have now reached the period in 2007 where the presentation of the Total Knowledge charts and curriculum is complete and Maharishi reveals the essence of Brahmavidya.
Maharishi said: “The birth of Brahm is that delicate level of existence and intelligence where the birth of silence is from activity and where the birth of activity is from silence. These are the two values; and integration of the two is that totality, that unified field, which is Brahm.
“Brahm is the most delicate assembly of the two opposite values, silence and activity. The union is so perfect in its complete naturalness that it is never anything other than the combination of the two, the co-ordination of the two.
“This is the Brahmavidya, and this is developing in the expression of the exposition of Total Knowledge through these graphs, through these charts, by Dr. Warburton. And he is yet to express — what is further going to come out of him — is Brahm. Brahmavidya — so delicate that it is this, that, and everything together.
“The dawn of Total Knowledge makes us blossom on the way of perfection. Where is perfection? … Where is all possibilities? In the field of Total Knowledge — the Brahm. That is a most delicate level of knowledge, and that is a most delicate level of action. … And Raja Peter has expressed that thing — is going to express more and more of the delicate union between the two values, silence and dynamism.”

Peter Warburton, PhD
Dr. Peter Warburton currently oversees the Transcendental Meditation® organization in several countries, including the UK, Bulgaria, UAE, and Zambia. He has a Master’s Degree in Social and Political Sciences from Cambridge University and a doctorate in Supreme Political Science from Maharishi University of World Peace.
Dr. Warburton worked closely with Maharishi, Founder of the Transcendental Meditation technique, for 36 years. Maharishi personally trained Dr. Warburton to offer courses in Total Knowledge, which present the full range of Maharishi’s knowledge in a delightful manner that requires no special prerequisite other than practicing the Transcendental Meditation technique.
