International Students

• Before you apply, read about your program of interest for specific entrance requirements.
• Read about the cost associated with your program of interest by visiting the Cost & Aid page for your program.
• Have your English test scores and official copies of academic transcripts before you start the application process for a faster admissions decision.

Your admissions counselor will provide a list of documents needed to complete your admissions process once you fill out an application for admission and pay a non-refundable $20 fee, both of which are valid for one calendar year.

Most documents can be emailed, except for official transcripts and certified translations (if they are not in English), which must be part of your admissions file in order to enroll.

If you are accepted to MIU, you will receive your acceptance letter and documents to support your F-1 student visa application.

We recommend the following timeline for all programs:

• Submit your application 6 months before your chosen entry
• Finish your application process in one month.
• Receive your admissions decision two months before your entry starts, at the latest.

We welcome most of our students in the Spring (February) and Fall (August). Note, however, that not all programs are offered every semester, while others may offer additional entries. Please refer to the table below for specific program start dates:
