Dubbed ‘The Rockstar Whisperer’ in an article by The Guardian, Kathryn Frazier relates her personal story of how she came from scrappy roots to build one of the most successful PR businesses in the music industry, representing such stars as Justin Bieber, Daft Punk, Lauryn Hill, Skrillex, and the Weeknd. While her job has long been to help artists achieve fame, her latest passion is helping her clients figure out how to deal with their sometimes overwhelming success. Confronted with the depression, anxiety, and addiction that many of her stars were experiencing, she became a life coach, counseling her clients on how to keep an even keel in the midst of fame. Frazier explores how she navigated her way through personal and professional growth while interweaving her PR and coaching businesses to become an entrepreneurial powerhouse.

Your Money AND Your Life | Mar Michelle Häusler

Mar Häusler’s talk offers deep insights into the field of social entrepreneurship, especially in the area of our personal relationship with money. A former London financial trader, Ms. Häusler left the finance world on a quest to explore deeper, more humanitarian forms of economics and money. After completing her Master’s in Economics at Schumacher College in the UK, she relates how she journeyed to the jungles of Brazil, where she worked with local communities to develop INKIRI$, a currency that changed the way locals collaborate. This has evolved into her latest project – the Give & Take Lab – a gamified experience for students that uses Social Currency to empower individuals to tackle world sustainability issues. Her talk inspires us to envision how we can also become a “social consciousness transformer”.
