Yick Oi Janet Ho’s college study was mainly focused on education. Already experienced in school administration during the educational reform in Hong Kong at the turn of the millennium, she was assigned Curriculum Developer and Coordinator of educational programs for students with special needs. After ten years in this position, she was honored with the Distinguished Service Award by the Hong Kong Red Cross.
Janet Ho’s deepening experience in the practice of the technology of consciousness brought out by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi inspired her to come to MIU to pursue Maharishi’s knowledge and apply it in her life and work. After that, she translated books related to Maharishi’s teaching.
She hosted the Cutie Showroom in 2018, exhibiting the vast portraits of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, Tony Nader, John Hagelin, David Lynch, Bob Roth, and others, all painted by her son, Hong Kong artist Michael Andrew Law. The paintings were then donated to MIU and David Lynch Foundation.
She is an active writer and has published in Chinese over 200 spiritual and philosophical articles on life management.
Dr. Ho’s dissertation addresses the principles of management in the Dao De Jing in light of Maharishi Vedic Science. Her current research interests include discovering consciousness factors in ancient Chinese philosophies and contemporary flourishing samples in management.
